Facing fear

Are we just hiding behind our masks to forget who we are?

Everyone is facing fear. Some of us are afraid to know the truth. Some of us are afraid of the future. Some of us are afraid of confronting the dark side. Some of us are afraid of the unpredictable.

We are born into this world naked and exposed, with all the lies, negativity and sadness coming in that we have a little shield around us. And because of our pride, we tend to wear a mask and hide all our weaknesses, and then pretend to be someone else.

And I believe almost everyone is doing that.

But the saddest thing is that some people continue to put on their masks and live in their comfort zones without lifting their masks off. That is how they will never find themselves again, and that is how they don't really know who they are anymore.

And hey, that's me.
